Updated July 11th: Variety reports Spacey is returning for MoS and Singer is pitching his idea to WB.HollywoodReporter talked with WB CEO Alan Horn on a Superman sequel.
"If we do a sequel to 'Superman,' we want it to be less expensive," Horn acknowledges. "I have to see a screenplay before I say yes to anything. But the studio would be willing to spend as much as $175 million if the screenplay and other factors warranted it."
Still, Singer has announced that he plans to direct a second "Superman" project."
In Lie To Me news, Brandon spoke with Arizona's National Ledger about the film's potential Sundance release."My fiancé, Courtney [Ford], and I just got done shooting a film together in Kansas City. It's an independent film called 'Lie to Me,' which I trust will be making it to Sundance," he says of the flick expected to hit theatres sometime next year. We play ex-lovers. I come back into her life and disrupt the relationship that she's in now. It's a great little indie darling."
