The world premiere of the May 18th (select cities)/June 1 (nationwide) release CROOKED ARROWS (view photos) was held at the Oncenter in Syracuse, NY to a sold-out crowd. Joining Brandon on the red carpet were Chelsea Ricketts and Gil Birmingham (who play sister and father, respectively, to Brandon's character coach Joe Logan) and many more.

Throughout the night, fans had been tweeting their photos from the event - these have been rounded-up for easy viewing on Facebook.

Unsurprisingly, initial reactions of the film have been positive - an encouraging sign for many of us who have to wait a little bit longer to see the film on the big screen.

Local Syracuse publications have already written about the star-studded event. Please visit them below to read their their accounts of the night:

Syracuse University Athletics - Hollywood stars and local dignitaries turned out for the world premiere of “Crooked Arrows” on Wednesday, May 9 at the Crouse Hinds Theater at the OnCenter in Syracuse. Following a red carpet show, a sold-out audience watched the film, which focuses on a Native American high school lacrosse team to honor the origins of the sport of lacrosse in the Native American community.

Syracuse.com (read a cast interview) -  When [Neal] Powless welcomed the cast and crew to the stage the nearly sold-out theater erupted in cheers and applause as they rose to their feet to give the group a standing ovation.

YNN - The movie already has support from native communities and fans of the sport. Those involved with the project say it has something for everyone.
