Courtney Ford Talks "Dexter"

Thursday, October 01, 2009 by Iris with
Courtney Ford recently spoke with Variety for their "TV's Top 10: New Faces for Fall" article to discuss how she almost gave up acting before landing a role on Showtime's hit series Dexter about a forensics expert who moonlights as a serial-killer killer.

When the "Dexter" audition emerged, Ford "didn't really want to go on it. I said, 'OK, this will be my last one.' A couple of days later, they said I got it. It didn't make any sense, but it changed the trajectory of my whole life."

Stream Courtney's first of many episodes as reporter Christine Hill at Showtime.

"Dexter" airs at 9PM on Showtime.

So glad Courtney didn't give up acting and acting didn't give up on her. This girl has real talent and is truly a nice person. So nice to see her on Dexter (which is my favorit show). Courtney did a great job and I'm glad she will be on many more episodes. Now the question is..., will her character get killed off? I guess time will tell :-)
