SCOTT PILGRIM Japanese Release

Director Edgar Wright tweeted that SCOTT PILGRIM will be released in Japan this April and that he does plan on visiting the country to help promote the film.

Chances are high that Brandon may join him barring any scheduling conflicts.

Right after Comic-Con, the cast and crew of SCOTT PILGRIM VS THE WORLD held interviews with many news outlets on the Universal Studios lot.

Ain't It Cool News has just published their interview with Brandon regarding games, comics, SCOTT PILGRIM, Superman, doing comedy, and more!

Todd is an interesting character because although we don’t see it fully in the movie, he’s intriguing because he’s dated two of Scott’s exes. He’s currently dating one of Scott’s exes and the one that broke his heart, so there’s even more animosity for Scott I think against Todd and maybe even Todd thinks he’s got the upper hand because he’s dated both of his exes[...]

Review: Iris vs Scott Pilgrim vs The World

There's only one more week left until SCOTT PILGRIM hits North American audiences - are you ready?

I had the pleasure of catching a screening last night and, I must say, if you even have the slightest bit of a sense of humor, you're going to have a great time. In my opinion, the film shows people something truly unique: amazing fight sequences (choreographed by Jackie Chan's fight team) blended in with awesome editing coupled with video game/comic book references and great acting by all (Brandon Routh's Todd Ingram channeling a Bizarro SuperIronman) - all under the premise of a boy-meets-girl-boy-must-defeat-girl's-exes-before-boy-can-date-girl love story.

CBR VS Two Evil Exes

Update: Collider sat down with the two guys as well - Brandon talks about Superman and Justice League.

Comic Book Resources sat down with two SCOTT PILGRIM evil exes: Brandon and Satya Bhabha (evil ex #1) to discuss their experiences working on the film.

"I had dreams of being [Evil Ex #5] Roxie Richter, but God had other plans," Brandon Routh joked. [...] "I was just going to say there's no humanity because he's [Todd] vegan," he laughed. "But yeah, there is. You see at the end, before he's extinguished; you see a flash of that, guilt, because he did betray the vegan way. There is real passion or hate for Ramona, or jealousy that she left him. That somebody's better than him. So those are flashes of emotion. He's not a robot. He's just not very good at controlling it, his humanity."
