Brandon Routh has joined the cast of LANCELOT, a modern day cos-play romantic comedy set in New York City. According to Moviehole.net, the film is being shopped around at the American Film Market next week. Read the synopsis below and more after the jump:
Dean, a hip, girl chasing, urbanite has his life turned upside down in Central Park one morning when he meets the “dreamy” knight, Isabel, an enthusiastic “Lord of the Rings”-like role player dressed up in medieval-inspired garb and engaged in a serious sword fight. Determined to make her his next conquest, Dean infiltrates the group but must tackle a series of offbeat challenges to prove his chivalry and valor to the skeptical Isabel. He is thwarted at every turn by Roger, Isabel’s ex-boyfriend, who is now posing as a villainous Robin Hood dedicated to overthrowing “The Order”. In the battle of good versus evil, realities come crashing together.

Rounding out the cast is Madeline Zima (The Nanny, Californication), Thora Birch (American Beauty), Christopher Lloyd (Back to the Future), and Cary Elwes (The Princess Bride, Robin Hood Men in Tights).
