Warner Bros is trying to ready its DC Comics stalwart Superman to soar again on the Big Screen, and the studio has turned to Chris Nolan to mentor development of the movie. Our insiders say that the brains behind rebooted Batman has been asked to play a "godfather" role and ensure The Man Of Steel gets off the ground after a 3 1/2-year hiatus. Nolan's leadership of the project can set it in the right direction with the critics and the fans, not to mention at the box office.Read more here. What are your thoughts about this if true?

I hope they use Brandon again. I think a lot of blame was placed on him for it not being as successful as it could have been. I think it was a combination of the terrible direction, storyline, Kate Bosworth's Lois and Kevin Spacey's villain (although he's an excellent actor otherwise). To me, Brandon was the quintessential Superman and he's had a lot of practice in acting since 2006. Nobody else could pull it off...
I agree with Jade on Brandon. He embodies the character perfectly, and I just don't see anybody doing a better job. He was born for the role to me and my family.
