"When a seemingly picture perfect relationship begins to unravel, one man must make a choice between the woman of his dreams, and his reality. What follows is a raw glimpse into how loneliness and regret can test the limits of one's sanity."

Shot on 35 mm film stock just weeks before Superman Returns, the 15 minute film premiered at the CineVegas Film Festival (Red Carpet Premiere, Photocall) Monday, June 12th with both actors in attendance.

An outstanding short film. Brandon proved himself an excellent actor. The direction and writing by Joel Kelly made for an impressive 15 minutes.

I heard "Denial" created quite a bit of buzz at CineVegas. I'm looking forward to seeing it.

Hey, Iris:

The trailer for Denial is available for download at this site. It's about 2/3rds of the way down the page. A person needs either QuickTime or Real Player to view it once it's downloaded. I, too, heard that it generated good buzz; I'd love to see it eventually.

Anybody got any idea how/where it'll be available? It's not like short films get played all over the place. And this one looks really interesting.

I would love to see this one myself too... But I don't think they will play here all the way in Michigan since most of these short films are viewed in bigger states like L.A. or New York... I would however like to know if will be released on DVD any time soon for those who won't be able to see it?

DVD? Yes. When? Too soon to say. The film's still doing the festival circuit.

I must say, it's giving me great pleasure reporting on his work that's unrelated to Superman.

This looks like a really interesting film and I would love to check it out. Does anyone have an idea where it is being played and when? Is it only at these film festivals?

Iris said...

As far as I know, it's only playing in festivals.

You could try the Boston Film Festival held in September maybe it will be summitted there but one never knows when you are going the Fim Festival way.

But it does look interesting the film. I would love to see it if I can. I love the poster that is a beautiful and stunning shot of Brandon and Courtney!
